Susan Hacker – Life Transformation

What inspired you to begin your lifestyle transformation?

At 63 years old, my health was becoming an issue.   I have high cholesterol and was diagnosed with osteopenia.  I had avoided exercise my whole life because I hated it.  With my rising health issues, I decided I needed a way to become more active.  My neighbor, Peggie, convinced me to try boot camp at Inspire.  She dragged me into Inspirational Life kicking and screaming.

How did Inspirational Life help you achieve your goal and how have the results affected your life?

I tried different exercise programs and never stuck with any of them.  Each workout  concentrates on specific body parts to tone and build muscle strength. The short, intense exercise programs have kept me motivated to continue rather than finding excuses to quit. Brian and Cathie made me feel very comfortable allowing me to go at my own pace and motivating me to continue through each workout.  Had it not been for Brian and Cathie’s support, I would have never continued. I now have been at Inspirational Life three days each week for the past four months.  I’ve only missed one day when I had minor surgery on my hand and was back at the very next class.  Brian and Cathie modified some of the exercises to work with my hand soreness.  They have encouraged me every session and have made me feel that I have accomplished something valuable for myself and also that I should continue with improving my health.

I have more core strength and much more energy every day. I am also more positive about exercising and my overall commitment to better health.   I’ve realized that it’s never too late too begin to start changing your life!
