What inspired you to begin your lifestyle transformation?
There were many things that lead me to begin a new lifestyle. I was “tired of being tired!” I could barely function throughout the day and I was miserable all the time. But my main and most important reason was my family. I began to see that if I did not start taking care of myself, I would not be able to take care of my husband if anything happened to him who was having some health issues at the time. I wanted to be healthy for my children. My husband, children and I all have all had our brush with death and I began to realize we all made it for a reason and I should start taking care of myself. My Mom and In-laws have had health issues recently too and I knew that I needed to begin a health journey so that I would hopefully not follow the same path. My family became my reason, not my excuse! I needed to begin taking care of ME!

How did Inspirational Life help you achieve your goal and how have the results affected your life?
I began my journey before entering Inspirational Life’s doors. I had lost 40 lbs and was considered “thin” but I was also weak. I knew that I needed to take the next step to gain muscle and be able to maintain my new lifestyle. A very dear friend asked me to give Inspire a try. I did, along with my husband and knew it was a perfect fit.

Listening to Brian speak about his transformation and how he went about it and how he lives his life is as if he is speaking about my journey and what is in my mind. I found someone who “Got it! “. Brian gets it and Cathie gets that I need to push myself more in order to achieve my long-term goals. Together along with the rest of the Inspire family have helped me believe that I can do what I hope to achieve, when never in my life have I been thought of as someone who is healthy and fit.

The welcoming, positive, motivating environment makes me want to get up everyday and come into Inspire and workout. This has lead me to be consistent with getting my workouts in and be able to face each day. I am not exactly where I want to be yet, but I am getting there. I take one day at a time, one meal at a time and I know that the little steps all lead into big life changing steps. There is no end to this process, it is a life long journey!

My life has improved tremendously! I am not longer tired and miserable. When I am tired now it is because I have had a long day that began with a great meal and an awesome workout! My love for fitness and health has become my passion. I have meet some amazing people along my journey, that I know would have never been in my life if I did not taken that first step! Every big thing begins with one small step! Believe you can and your halfway there!
