Egg Salad With A Twist

IngredientsEgg Salad with Cottage Cheese

  • 1 whole hard boiled egg
  • 7 hard boiled egg whites
  • 113 grams (about 1/2 cup) Friendship 1% cottage cheese
  • Sea salt to taste
  • Garlic powder to taste
  • Black pepper to taste


Peel hard boiled eggs (I find it’s easier to peel them while warm).  Use a fork to mash up the eggs.  Add the cottage cheese and seasonings and mix well.  You can also add mustard and paprika if desired.  You can put the egg salad over lettuce and top with tomatoes as pictured above or you can put the egg salad in a wrap. * Just add the calories of the wrap to the nutritional information below.

Also, you can heat up the egg salad and eat it warm.  I think it tastes even better warm.
