Baked Apple Pie Oatmeal

IngredientsBaked Apple Pie Oatmeal

  • 40 grams Oatmeal (about 1/2 cup)
  • 1 Tablespoon Raisins
  • 2 Egg whites (I find that egg whites in the carton work best)
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1/4 tsp Baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon (or to taste)
  • 1/2 tsp Apple pie spice
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • 1/2 cup Unsweetened apple sauce


Mix all together EXCEPT for the applesauce and place in a pie plate dish.  Once mixed, place large spoonfuls of the applesauce to the mixture and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.  Remove from oven and top with a pinch of brown sugar …enjoy!

* Use this recipe to create your favorite – trade applesauce for blueberries, peaches, apples, bananas, raspberries, pumpkin or whatever you like.  Omit raisins and apple pie spice if you want.  Be creative!  Just edit the nutritional for your substitutions.
